Pharr Family Values

Last year, Mario and I talked about the values we wanted for our family and some thoughts, lessons, sayings, etc. we’d like to instill within our children.  After some thought, we came up with the following values that we’ll be sharing with our girls for years to come.
As they grow, and our lives change, these values may change too.  But, I’ve got a pretty good feeling that most of them will stick!
Pharr Family Values
  1. Seek, serve and honor God.
  2. Love your family. Love yourself.
  3. Be considerate.
  4. Give back.
  5. Be respectful.
  6. Stand up for yourself.
  7. Be courteous & mind your manners.
  8. Be confident (& careful not to be arrogant).
  9. Be adventurous.
  10. Think critically.
  11. Dream big. Always!
  12. Never say, “I can’t”.
  13. It’s okay to make mistakes, learn from them.
  14. “Don’t give up, don’t ever give up.”
  15. Set goals and be determined.
  16. Practice patience.
  17. We are blessed, be grateful.
  18. Live fully, and enjoy life.
  19. Finish Well.
  20. Keep moving forward.
Parental Motto: Love. Nurture. Thrive.
Want to make a list like this for your family?  Think about the following:
  • What words best describe our family?
  • What’s most important to us?
  • What are some of our favorite sayings?
  • What are our strengths as a family?
  • What areas do we have the potential to show weakness and what are the words we should use to overcome?

As always, Live Fully
