Let’s talk “business”!

Although I write for myself and the entertainment of others I still want you to know what’s what behind the scenes! By now you should know how transparent I am and if you don’t know go here, here, and here.
Pharr Away is a personal blog written by myself, Nicole. I, of course, accept forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid-for-click advertising and other forms of compensation, including contextual affiliate marketing links.  I’m a lover of coffee, Amazon and Target so this blog helps to fund these habits…okay!This means that I may get a commission on sales of the products that I link to in my posts and as a dear reader of mine I want you to know that if you follow a link and make a purchase from an affiliate site, then I may make a commission from that purchase.  Will my being compensated ever influence the content, topics or posts of this here little blog of mine?!? You can bet your bottom dollar that it won’t.  My opinion will always be my own, which is open and honest with a hint of dry humor and a bit of sarcasm.

Now, I’m no guru so if it appears as such it is only through personal trial and error, and nothing more!  I said all that to say that I get stuff, dough, bread, cheddar…dollar, dollar bills y’all when you click a link that takes you away from this site! There, I said!

Also, I’m not sure how it would benefit me to share your information and even if I did (you know, see the benefit), I value integrity and I also value you, so no worries there! Therefore, I will never share any of your information with anyone else. Your information is just that, your information and not mine to distribute.Got questions?!? I’ve got answers, so long as you’re not being too nosy…I kid, I kid.  Sort of :)!

I’m not a doctor, registered dietitian, or fitness expert! I know you’re shocked, but it’s true!  I plan to share what has worked for me and my family and my experiences with food, fitness, and life through this platform—not to dole out advice. When it comes to your health and fitness your best bet is to do your own research. Recipes that I post are ones that I have come up with or have personally tried and/or adapted. Sometimes I screw up when I cook so I’m not responsible if you do the same :)!
