The Mudcats!

My aunt, Tasha, was nice enough to give us some free tickets to a Mudcats baseball game last week! I grew up with a minor league baseball team in my hometown (Kinston Indians) so I actually really enjoy the game having gone to several growing up.  I can’t; however, watch it on television.  It’s a sport that you must see live, in my opinion!

We knew that it might be just a bit much for Madison and that we’d probably leave early but we wanted to give it a go since it was something different.

We, of course, couldn’t resist getting some nachos since we all LOVE chips…and cheese!  Overall, we had a good time and the girl lasted for about an hour before she had had enough! The next adventure we’d like to have before the summer is out is a trip to the zoo in Asheville.  I’ll be sure to take a lot more pictures :)!!!

Oh my gosh, girl, I wouldn't resist those nachos either! You could link this up for my Celebrate EVERYTHING linky party today if you like! What a great way to celebrate summer – with a baseball game! Your little girl looks like she loved it.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! I can't believe the Kinston Indians are no longer…I loved going to the games. And I totally agree, baseball has to be seen live!

Me either, Ashley! I often wonder what Kinston has left to offer the young!

I'm not a baseball fan, but my family and I attended a game last month and I really enjoyed myself. My husband is from your hometown; I thought we was pretty cool.
