Spa Water (Detox, Hydrate, Energize)

Whenever I go to a restaurant I always get water with lemon. Most importantly, it’s free and it tastes delicious, but I also knew there were some health benefits associated with it too.  I’ve recently started to drink lemon water at home, regularly, and was excited when I discovered that you can add several different fruit combinations together that will result in an array of different benefits.
So now I plan to incorporate different combinations based on what I have on hand since I’ve learned that it helps to detox, hydrate and energize
My husband likes to call it spa water! I have had water like this at a spa so we’ll go with that! I’ve also heard that celebrities like Beyonce’ love this kind of stuff…and who doesn’t want to do whatever she does! I don’t (well, except this), but some do!
Anyway, just give these a try, they’re pretty tasty!!!

Water weight management, bloating, appetite control, hydration and digestion.

Ingredients | Directions | Benefits
1/2 cucumber, 1 lemon, 1 lime.
Let sit for at least 30 minutes before drinking.
Replenish the water as often as you’d like then discard the fruit after 48 hours.
Water weight management, bloating, appetite control, hydration and digestion.
You can also try these three for a different variety of flavors and benefits…
Lemon, lime, orange.
Drink at room temperature.
Digestion, vitamin C, immune defense, heartburn.
Green tea, mint, lime.
Fat burning, digestion, headaches, congestion, breath freshener.
Strawberry, kiwi.
Cardiovascular health, immune system protection, blood sugar regulation, digestion.
Do keep in mind that when I say detox here I’m not referring to just drinking this and nothing else in order to do a cleanse or flush.  That is not what this is meant for, in my opinion.  This is simply a way to drink water that tastes good and helps aid in creating a better digestive system due to the water itself and certain items added to the water like lemon, for example, which acts as a diuretic (elevates the rate of urination).  This is in no way some sort of meal replacement or cleanse. This is about drinking more water and taking in more nutrients where you can!

Do you like the taste of fruit in water??? What kind of fruits do you typically use?

yummy! i have the ingredients to make this at home right now. fresh is probably best for these right, not lemon juice from the bottle.

Do it! You will love it! No ma'am on the lemon juice! Use fresh fruit only to get the full benefits!

Yes, Angela! I don't know why I never thought to at least drink the simplest combination of lemon and water considering how often I order it when I'm out!

    Hey Nicole,
I posted to my fb, how do I pin it to my pinterest?
    Thank you,
    Cortne

My pin-it button must have disappeared when I updated my design. I've added it back! So now you can just hover over one of the photos and a pin-it button should appear in the top right corner of the photo for your pinning pleasure :)! Thanks SO much for asking this question so that I correct my design!

Yummy! Looks very refreshing! Next grocery trip I'll pick up some limes and make the first drink. It looks beautiful! Definitely going to make "spa water".
