Thankful Tuesday…

I’m so thankful to be a wife and mother…

These older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and their children, to live wisely and be pure, to work in their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God.
LOVING THIS GUY – I’m thankful for this wonderful man who came home from work yesterday and consoled a crying baby while I enjoyed some cookies and milk.  He did give me a time limit to enjoy myself, mind you.  Well that’s no fun…but he did it b/c he wanted to go outside before it got too dark to do this (did I mention that this was after he got off, oh yeah, I did)…
This beautiful tree…still has a lot of leaves!!!
Here is a look at a summer photo of 2/3 of our back yard which has been covered in leaves this fall, just to give you an idea of how much more work he had to do (didn’t get a chance to get a leafy picture due to Maddie and all)…
So yeah, he’s pretty fantastic, today at least *snickering*…and tired, I imagine :)!  I won’t pretend that he or our lives are perfect because he / it isn’t (show me a person who says otherwise about life and I’ll show you a liar :))!
But seriously, he tries and tries hard and does his very best to keep me and his family covered, sheltered, protected and happy.  Through ups and downs, the good and the bad, he’s been there and he’ll always be there and I’ll forever be thankful for a best friend like that.
LOVING THIS GIRL –  I am beyond thankful for this beautiful little girl who is the light of my world.  She makes me laugh, just by laughing.  She makes me cry with joy, just by being mine!!!

By our amazing family photographer – Lauren Garrison Photography

There was a time in my life that I couldn’t imagine myself with her (or kids period, for that matter).  But how grateful I am to God for seeing things differently.  Now, I can’t imagine my life without her and am so honored to be entrusted with the task of raising her!
So, so thankful for my family and the many blessings He’s bestowed upon me!!!

I finally got around to creating a Facebook Fan Page, click here to check it out (and “Like” it why don’t ya!)!!!

There's always so much to be thankful for. We don't have any children yet but I'm thankful for the time I get to spend with my husband. Just he and I, learning more and more about each other and growing in our relationship and as individuals. I'm so thankful for blogging too. It's such an amazing community xoxoxo

I totally agree Vanisha, 100%!!! Even with a baby, we still make it a requirement to spend time with just us…even if that means staying up late at night and missing out on sleep just so we can talk and laugh and catch up on shows together!

I love love LOVE blogging and the community that's fostered through it!
