Finding the Perfect Fit with Capital One’s Auto Navigator

Thank you Capital One for sponsoring this post.
Use Capital One‘s Auto Navigator to pre-qualify
for auto-financing prior to visiting an eligible dealer.

Sometimes, you know exactly what kind of car would be best for you and your family. You’ve done your research and you have the size, color and all of the must-have features in mind. It’s just a matter of finding that perfect fit at a dealer, right? Oh, and making sure you can afford it!
When it came to deciding on what we wanted for my latest car, it really was just that simple. I’d had my eye on a crossover for quite some time so I just needed to find a dealer that could meet the following needs:
  • Size: I felt that a crossover was the perfect size because it would be big enough to accommodate a family of 3 or 4 but not so large that I wouldn’t feel in control while driving it.
  • Color: I knew that I wanted a color that looked clean even when it wasn’t, and one that I didn’t have to worry about fading too much over time.
  • Must-Have Features: Lastly, I didn’t require much in the must-have features arena. I was really just looking for a car that I would feel safe in and one that my growing family would feel comfortable in. It needed to be spacious inside, and have automated windows and locks, a disc changer, and a USB port. That’s it…or do you consider that a lot?  Anything beyond that would be icing on the cake.

At the time, we went from dealer to dealer searching for my dream car, and at one point I became a bit discouraged. One of the things I wish we had available is the Capital One Auto Navigator. I could have done all of the legwork of finding a vehicle in the comfort of my home. I also wouldn’t have had to argue and negotiate with the salesman as much if I had come to the dealer with a financing certificate in hand after I’d already been pre-qualified for auto financing.

So, if you’re currently on the market for a new vehicle and already have what you want in mind, I suggest you give the Capital One Auto Navigator a try. Once you’ve been pre-qualified you can set the price that you’d like to spend each month then search for the perfect fit based on your budget. You should be able to save time, money and a bit of frustration utilizing this tool. I certainly will when we upgrade in the next year or so.

If you’re looking to buy soon, I’d love to hear what type of vehicle you have in mind; size, color, and must have features! Please share in the comments.
