Maddie Lately {16 Months}

Stats | 20.6lbs, 30in
Clothes | 12-18mo
Shoes | Size 4

Where does the time go?!? Maddie turned 16 months old recently and I'm telling you what a difference a month makes.  Her understanding of language has increased dramatically over this past month.  From putting her diapers in the trash to cleaning up her toys to getting a book off the shelf when she's asked to do these things.  It's been a bit of a relief to see her growing in this way and I look forward to her speaking more words and using short sentences in the next few months.

Counting (incoherently) from 1-5. It's not very clear but you can tell she's trying.
Hugging, she even pats my back now :)
Pulling her train around, standing on it's seat, everything but riding on it like she should!
Getting on my nerves. :)
Grocery shopping (as long as she gets to walk)
Reading books (she brings me books when she's ready to read now and I LOVE it)!
This girl is a cutey-patootie (like her Daddy ;)) and loads of fun!

    1. Thanks, Ashley! It is such a fun age, she seems to let me know what she'd like to do now and that's been so much fun! It usually consists of her bringing me her shoes...always ready to go outside!

  3. Such a cutie pie. It's a fun age but talk about the whine. I wish I could tell you that goes away. Ugh ...

    1. Thanks, Amber! It certainly is bittersweet! I find myself holding her a lot more trying to soak in this age where I can still sort of call her my baby!
